Return on Relationship #RonR
Last year while I was in New York at the BlogHer conference, I had the opportunity to meet a gentleman by the name of Ted Rubin. Mind you, it was a small conversation in the middle of the doorway of the hotel. He was on his way out and I was on my way in. We exchanged business cards and I have to say that this short and sweet 2 minute conversation was the beginning of my social media relationship makeover.
In the past year, I have followed Ted closely on my social media outlets. I follow closely because he gives GENIUS advice on social marketing. Not the willy nilly stuff that you might find on hundreds of other blogs or sites. He gives true, real deal, and inspiring advice on how to get the best return on your relationships through social media. I’ve not had the opportunity to hear him speak at a conference but I had been anticipating the release of his book on Amazon, Return on Relationship™ which is now available to order!!
Even though I’ve not heard him speak at an event, he’s given me a lot of great advice and wonderful words of wisdom. He wished me a Happy Birthday with this kind message, “Hey Jenni…Birthdays bring along a truly wonderful chance to leave aside every care and simply enjoy. Have an extra special Birthday!”. Another little gem of advice from Ted that is one of my favorites:
Put more energy and attention in your “give” column than in your “take” column. #RonR
