Pepperoni Pizza Casserole Recipe – Pizza and Pasta Collide

August 24, 2015 by Jenni

This Pepperoni Pizza Casserole is so easy to make and such a delicious comfort food. Combining two favorite dishes, pizza and pasta!

Pepperoni Pizza Casserole

Check out this pepperoni pizza casserole. This dish will make your face drool and your toes curl – I’m not even kidding. There’s so much cheesy-ness going on here. It combines two of your favorite comfort foods…pizza and pasta!

So, school started back 2 weeks ago for us. TWO. WEEKS. AGO!! I swear, summers are getting shorter and shorter! I’m actually kinda happy in a way though cause honestly, I get SO stinking lazy in the summer. When little man is in school, I get back on a good routine and I feel so much more productive. Do you?

This Pepperoni Pizza Casserole is so easy to make and such a delicious comfort food. Combining two favorite dishes, pizza and pasta!

In the summer we grill alot. That’s my husband’s job – and he toots his own horn about the kind of grill master he is. When school starts back though, the cooking tends to become my job again. I admit, I’m a throw it together and go kinda cook. I also love it when I can make one meal that can feed us more than once. This pepperoni pizza casserole is one of those. We can eat on it for a couple of days and then freeze the leftovers.

One thing I keep in stock ALL the time is Ragu® Spaghetti and Pasta Sauce. There’s so much you can do with just that one item, and it’s so convenient. It takes most of the work out when it comes to seasoning too – and besides that, who has time to make their own homemade sauce? I sure don’t. There’s also more than a full serving of veggies in every half-cup of their spaghetti and pasta sauce. It’s a brand that my mom always bought when I was growing up so we keep up the tradition. Don’t miss these other yummy recipes from Ragu® on Pinterest!

Costco is the perfect place to stock up too! I love that you can get the big jars there. You can also shop for your other main staples like pasta, snacks and things you usually buy often. It just makes sense…to buy in bulk and save some cash.

Pepperoni Pizza Casserole Ingredients:

  • 1 box of pasta (we used spiral)
  • 1 jar of Ragu® Spaghetti and Pasta Sauce (any flavor you like)

Do the layering all over again, just like before. Add the rest of the pasta, beef, sauce, parmesan cheese and the remaining of the mozzarella cheese.

What’s your favorite pizza topping?

Oh my gosh! Did you know that October is National Pizza Month?! Pizza has to be my most favorite thing on earth to eat. We actually just had pizza for dinner lastnight. Don’t you just love pizz?? It’s just one of those foods that everyone loves because it can be made so many ways. Ooey, gooey, cheesy doughy PIZZA! Yum. I think I’ll go snag a piece outta the fridge leftover from lastnight. Cold pizza sounds like the perfect breakfast!

Here’s what myself and our “Moms Check In” moms think….

Amanda-626x1024“I’m weird. I love cheese, but I’m not a fan of lots of cheese on my pizza. It gets greasy. So I always end up ordering my pizza with ham and pineapple….light cheese and extra sauce. YUM! Needless to say I always end up getting my own pizza. But as a bonus: That means I always have leftovers for the next day!”
