This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TruMoo. All opinions are 100% mine.
My aunt always said we had 2 bellies. A belly for regular food and then a belly for sweets! That must be true because I love sweets!! Do you have a sweet belly too? haha! Well, TruMoo has these new milk varieties out right now that we picked up at Walmart. The TruMoo Orange Scream and the Chocolate flavored milks are both free of high fructose corn syrup. They’re just sweetened with plain ole’ sugar.
Since pudding types of desserts are usually my favorites ones to make (hello, they’re EASY!) I was ready to try both the orange scream and the chocolate flavors right away. I made a really yummy mud pie pudding and also these homemade orange dreamsicles, or s’creamsicles rather. Both are INTENSE and so delicious!! I couldn’t wait for the orange dreamsicles to freeze so I could pop one out and eat it!
Here ya go….make these now and then thank me later!
FYI: Unless you’re making several of these popsicles, you’ll have lots of extra pudding and cream cheese mix leftover. That’s never an issue for us. The cream cheese mixture is actually my personal “no bake” cheesecake mixture. You can use the leftover mixture in the recipe further down below for the Mud Pie Pudding. Or plop it into a graham cracker crust and top with your favorite cheesecake topping.
If you don’t want that much leftover cream cheese mixture, then just 1/4 that part of the recipe. That should be plenty to fill in the tops of the popsicle molds. But – I’d totally make it all and eat it, LOL!!! But that’s just me.
- Vanilla instant pudding (small box)
- TruMoo Orange Scream Milk
- 1 block of softened Cream Cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 regular size tub of Cool Whip
- Popsicle Molds
- Whisk together the pudding mix and milk according to pudding directions on the package for the pie filling. It’s usually a little thicker than normal pudding.
- Before pudding sets, pour into molds. Reserve space at the top for cream cheese mixture.
- Beat cream cheese and 1/3 cup of sugar together until combined.
- Gently fold in and mix the cool whip in and stir until combined.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the pudding till it’s close to the top.
- Insert handles for popsicle molds, and freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight.
Now if chocolate is more your style, have NO fear. I’ve got another fun recipe for you.
Sometimes I feel like….somebody’s watchin’ meeeeee.
{80’s music just kicked in}
Excuse me while I bust’a move.
Okay…back to the pudding….
Super Scary Mud Pie Pudding {eyeballs and all}
Ingredients:
- Chocolate instant pudding (big box)
- TruMoo Chocolate flavored milk
- 1 package of Oreo cookies or other chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
- 1 block of cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 regular size tub of Cool Whip
- 1 package of Wilton Candy Eyes
Directions:
- Mix pudding mixture and milk according to package directions on pudding box for the pie filling. Set aside.
- Beat softened cream cheese and sugar together until combined.
- Fold in Cool Whip and mix until combined. Set aside.
- In a pan, layer the bottom with the crushed Oreos.
- Then add the cream cheesecake mixture on top of crushed Oreos, spread evenly in a layer.
- Then layer on the chocolate pudding.
- Refrigerate until set and ready to serve.
- Before serving, sprinkle the top with the Wilton Candy Eyes for spooky fun!
Tip: Reserve a little bit of the crushed Oreos to mix into the chocolate pudding. It gives it more of a “mud” texture. đ
