While reading on another blog I found a recipe for Homemade Laundry Detergent. The cool thing is that the cost is only approximately $0.02 per load. Plus I know that many people have soap allergies and struggle with finding the right detergent that doesn’t make you or the kids “itch all over”. Using homemade stuff may work for you…It’s worth a Shot!!
One of the Stockpiling Moms readers shared a recipe and so I wanted to share it with you all. I know my sisters have mentioned a few times about making this themselves so I hope they can get good use out of the recipe!
The ingredients needed are:
4 cups of water
1/3 bar of cheap soap, grated
1/2 cup washing soda (not baking soda)
1/2 cup 20 Mule Team Borax
5 gallon bucket to use for mixing
3 gallons of water
Make sure to get the recipe and instructions here at Stockpiling Moms!
Thanks for sharing, Melissa
Blessings~
