This is so exciting! So, I haven’t officially said anything just yet…but I will be making an OFFICIAL post soon. However – I’m dropping a hint that I may be “out of town” next month for a few days. Ahem. And yes….it has to do with Disney AND the movie Tomorrowland!

Wanted to share this little tid bit of news though. Walt Disney Studios and Disney Parks are teaming up to showcase an exclusive sneak peek of Disney’s Tomorrowland movie which will feature 12 minutes of exciting, never before seen footage PLUS a special exhibit for Disney park guests at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort! The exhibit will feature the making of “Tomorrowland” with props, concept artwork, photos from filming and images from the Disney Archives!!

Burbank, Calif. (April 10, 2015) –Walt Disney Studios announced today an unprecedented collaboration between the Studio, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort to offer park guests a 12-minute sneak peek of Disney’s upcoming thrilling, mystery-adventure film, “Tomorrowland,” opening in U.S. theaters on May 22. Guests will also enjoy an impressive exhibit that features the making of the movie with props, concept artwork and photos from the filming of the movie plus exclusive images from the Disney Archives. The sneak peek and exhibit will open April 17 in Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park and on April 18 in Future World at Epcot and will be available to the public for a limited time.

The must-see event marks the first time that a sneak peek has been offered at Epcot in Walt Disney World and the first time Walt Disney Studios has teamed up with both parks to showcase an upcoming Disney film with footage and an in-depth look at the making of the film. Sure to spark the imagination and curiosity of all, the special exhibit details the process of bringing director Brad Bird’s vision to life and will show how filmmakers created the world of Tomorrowland, along with archival images of iconic Disneyland attractions featured in the movie.

In the movie, the premise that the futuristic city of Tomorrowland could actually exist pays homage to Walt Disney’s vision for both Tomorrowland at Disneyland Resort and Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort where ever-evolving technologies are showcased along with ideas to make the world a better place for all.

Commenting on the exclusive “Tomorrowland” sneak peek event, Brad Bird, the film’s two-time Oscar® winning director, says, “We are excited that park guests will be the first to get an extended look at ‘Tomorrowland’ in the part of Disneyland that inspired the film. I am waiting in excruciating anticipation for the new Disney movie, Tomorrowland, to come out! It will hit theaters on May 22nd. Woo stinkin’ hooooooo!!!! I just found out about this “Create TOMORROWLAND” Xprize Challenge and I wanted to share the details with you.

Staring next month, XPRIZE is launching a video contest for 8-17 year-olds to imagine world-changing technology of the future inspired by the upcoming Disney movie TOMORROWLAND!! Six winners will have a once in a lifetime mentorship experience with a leader in their area of interest. In addition, each winner will receive a $3,000 check, a 3D printer from 3D Systems, and registration for FIRST® LEGO® League for the competition season 2015-2016 in the U.S.! Beginning April 22, 2015, Disney’s Create Tomorrowland – XPRIZE Challenge invites kids to imagine themselves in the future and report back to the present through video, imagery or stories about one new and amazing invention or innovation they encounter, how it works, and the impact it has on the future.

In June, six winners will have a once–in-a-lifetime mentorship experience with a leader in their area of interest. In addition, each winner will receive a $3,000 check, a 3D Printer from 3D Systems, and registration for FIRST® LEGO® League for the competition season 2015-2016 in the U.S.

So, I’m just gonna put this out there. I am in love with Hugh Laurie. We are massive fans of the show, House. We still watch the reruns of that show so when I found out that he was also starring in TOMORROWLAND – I flipped. Needless to say, he plays the villain. Hugh Laurie just plays a great villain anyway. Sigh.

Now – get THIS. Two more of my favorite people have roles in this movie too. George Clooney and Tim McGraw. Double Swooooon! This movie is a triple threat, in my book!

Have you heard about the new Disney/Pixar movie INSIDE OUT? This looks like it’s going to be such a sweet movie. Check out the new movie trailer below and then you’ll see more information about the movie. The awesome Amy Poehler plays “Joy” – we LOVE her in our house. She’s just hilarious! It opens in theatres everywhere on June 19th!

From an adventurous balloon ride above the clouds to a monster-filled metropolis, Academy Award®-winning director Pete Docter (“Monsters, Inc.,” “Up”) has taken audiences to unique and imaginative places. In Disney•Pixar’s original movie “ Inside Out,” he will take us to the most extraordinary location of all—inside the mind.

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

Have you heard the news?

We don’t have to “Let it Go!!!!”

Families everywhere, rejoice! Frozen 2 is officially in the works!!

I don’t know but I really think that I’m more excited than my kid is. A year later and Frozen still plays in our house, at least once a week. The songs however, are still sung on the daily around here. Here’s the news….

Winter weather ahead! Frozen 2 is officially in development at Walt Disney Animation Studios with directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee and producer Peter Del Vecho, the Oscar®-winning filmmaking team behind Frozen.

The news was announced at Disney’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders this morning by Bob Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company; John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios; and actor Josh Gad, who provides the voice of Olaf from Frozen.

“We enjoyed making Frozen Fever so much and being back in that world with those characters,” said John Lasseter. “Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we’re taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that.”

A release date and production details are yet to be announced. But no fear, I’ll keep you in the loop. 🙂

Frozen. That is a word that has new meaning in my life since the Disney movie released. My house quickly filled with everything Frozen. DVD’s, music, plushies, blankets, books, toys, figurines, games, toothbrushes, you name it. If it has Olaf on it, it’s in our house. The boy sings Let it Go — STILL — all the time!

That’s partially why we’re so stinking excited and CANNOT wait for Frozen Fever!! Have you heard about it yet?! It’s the highly anticipated follow up short to the original movie and can be seen exclusively in theaters with Disney’s new live-action CINDERELLA, starring Lily James and Cate Blanchett on March 13th! Will you be taking your family??

In “Frozen Fever,” it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but when Elsa catches a cold, her powers may put more than just the party at risk.

Disney’s #FrozenFever First Look Images and Video Featurette #Cinderella

Look how long it’s been, and we’re still crazy over Disney’s Frozen at our house. At this very second as I type, my son is singing “Do You Wanna Build a Snowman”. Seriously. We ended up buying him the singalong version of the movie for Christmas and it repeats, and repeats and repeats. I secretly love it just as much as he does. 😉

Anyway, get this! Walt Disney Animation Studios’ all-new short FROZEN FEVER, which welcomes Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf back to the big screen, will open in theaters on March 13th, in front of Disney’s CINDERELLA, a live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale. In honor of this, we’re sharing some first look images and a video featurette from Frozen Fever!! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Cannot wait for March 13th!!
