It’s official. Warm weather is here! As I type, the husband is outside mowing the yard for the first time this season. I can smell grills firing up through the neighborhood, along with our own. The dogs are sunning in the yard, the wind is blowing. Perfection. Warm weather around here means swimming pool time, good food with friends and family – and ice cold treats. For some though, like me, ice cold treats can pose a bit of a problem if you have sensitive teeth!
Since I was a teenager, I’ve had trouble with sensitive teeth. You know how it is when you take a bite of something ice cold and it sends that shooting pain from your teeth through your whole body. You suck your cheeks in, the eyes cross and then you grab your jaw. It’s misery sometimes! In the summer I crave frappes, frozen coffees, milkshakes and popsicles!
When I get a hankering, I just go for it but my sensitive teeth keep me from enjoying it at it’s fullest! I’ve tried different “Sensitivity” products before but Colgate now has this new Colgate Sensitive Toothbrush and Sensitivity Pen that I’m crushing on. I love the convenience of it and the relief it gives me. The Actis Enamel Pen blocks sensitivity at the source of pain. Simply: Brush, Apply, Go. That easy! Over time with continued use, the formula builds a barrier so teeth are less prone to sensitivity!
The toothbrush portion of the combo has super soft bristles which is a better choice for you if you have sensitive teeth anyway. After brushing, you just apply the gel from the Sensitivity Pen and go! The Colgate Sensitive Toothbrush and Sensitivity Pen is a pretty cool set up. The end of the toothbrush has an open spot to store the Sensitivity Pen for convenience. That way you don’t have to go digging through your bathroom drawers for your pen and it’ll never get lost!!
After just 3 days, I could tell a big difference in how sensitive my teeth felt. So, to give it a good ole’ test drive, we made this Homemade Peanut Butter and Chocolate Milkshake!
I was able to inhale an entire shake without any pain – woohoo!!!
I found the Colgate Sensitive Toothbrush and Sensitivity Pen at Kroger. It was up on the top shelf, in case you have trouble finding it. Oh, and before you go to grab one for yourself, check your local store websites because they may offer digital coupons for the Colgate Sensitive Toothbrush and Sensitivity Pen!
