My personal favorite Top Coat…Seche Vite
Ladies…don’t you just hate when you polish your nails then have it start to peel the next day?! I know I do. You spend time making sure they look perfect and then within a day or 2, the polish or top coat starts peeling right at the tip. The only time I’ve ever had any luck getting my polish to stay on is when I’ve had acrylic nails. The biggest reason that nail polish comes off of our real nails is because of natural oil.
Over the years, I’ve tried a lot of different brands of clear top coat. I tried one called Seche Vite and I’ve fallen in love with it! I found this brand back years and years ago when my sister Mikki and I took a course at the local cosmetology and manicurist school. Seche Vite Top Coat dries SUPER DUPER fast…like fully dry within just a few minutes. It makes your manicure look really slick and shiny too!!

If you have trouble getting your nail polish to stay on, there isn’t too much that you can do to keep it from doing that. Some people have more trouble than others. Just a couple of suggestions…try slightly buffing your nails with a buffer before polishing. This will take the “shine” off, removing the oil on your nails which will help the polish stay on longer. Also, wear gloves when doing dishes by hand or when using a cleaner around the house. That can help too.
As far as the Seche Vite Top Coat is concerned, it is again, the best one I’ve ever used. That’s just a personal opinion but if you have trouble with other brands then I suggest giving it a try. My local CVS used to sell it. The last time I went in to grab some, they didn’t have it on the shelf so I found it on Amazon! Yay!!! Plus, it’s cheaper on Amazon than it was at CVS, around $5 a bottle…double Yay!! When my bottle arrives, I’ll snap a picture of my nails and update this post with the pic.
