I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Lionsgate. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
You know how some movies just hit you, right in the heart?! I sat here the other night on the couch while watching shows I had recorded on the DVR and the trailer for The Age of Adaline came on. In just seconds, I was mesmerized! I looked at my husband and said, “Ok…we’re gonna watch that!!”.
There are so many things going on in this movie. Love and heartbreak, all with whimsical and magical elements – all while Adaline will never age another day.
Just watch this short trailer – and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with the story line too!
Everyone will enjoy this movie. Yes, its’ a love story that even the men are going to fall all over. Even the tweens and teens will fall in love with the movie. The story line is so romantic and unique. Just imagine….
finding true love
losing that love
being afraid to ever love again
The story starts out in the early 1900’s and shows the amazing fashion trends throughout the decades in the movie. You see how the fashion changes and how she keeps up, but still has an “old fashioned” spirit about her. Adaline stays beautiful, dangling in time. Never able to settle down with the man of her dreams or anyone that she loves and always on the run.
There are parts that are so beautiful and happy – and parts that are so sad! At one point in the trailer, you see Adaline, so young and beautiful, talking with her daughter who is older now, and dons a head full of silver gray hair. Seems like the roles should be reversed, right?! But they aren’t!
The Age of Adaline will be released nationwide on April 23rd at 7pm! Adaline Bowman is played by Blake Lively!! Harrison Ford, Michiel Huisman and Ellen Burstyn have leading roles as well. Check out the official website, Tumblr, and other social media channels below!!!

I’ll be watching the movie…probably a couple of different times. Once as a date night with the husband and then another night for a “girls night out” with my sister and besties!!
So…what do you think of the trailer? Will you be watching The Age of Adaline?!
