I cannot believe that October is almost here! Fall is my favorite time of the year. Around late September, we start thinking about Halloween costumes. I always like to get a jump on it early, otherwise I worry about shipping deadlines if I wait too long. My little guy is all about Toy Story, Toy Story 2 and then of course…Toy Story 3. He decided that this year he wanted to be Sheriff Woody. No, thankfully, he does NOT have a snake in his boot! 🙂
The last few years, we’ve got our Halloween costumes from Costume Express. We’ve always been very happy and that’s where we’ll continue to shop from. They have great prices (this costume was just $34) and the costumes are always very well made. We got this Sheriff Woody costume in the mail a few days ago and I thought little man was going to come UNGLUED! He couldn’t wait – so we went ahead and let him put it on. I wanted to make sure it would fit anyway.
How stinking cute is HE?! He loves, loves, LOVES his costume. I knew he would. The only thing I can say about this Sheriff Woody costume is that the hat is a bit difficult to keep on his head. It would have been a great addition to have a string that goes under the chin to keep it attached, but all is well. It doesn’t bother him at all.
When shopping at Costume Express, I feel like the measurements are right on. My little guy is small for his age, so I went with the size 4/6. It fits perfectly. But I would double check the measuring guide just to be safe. It may also depend on the individual costume. I highly recommend checking Costume Express out for all of your costume needs.
