Are you getting ready to potty train your kiddo? Are you ready to jump off a cliff just THINKING about it? Potty training can be a nightmare, I know! Sometimes kids make up their own minds that they’re ready, while others – yeah – not so much. Two big rules are, #1 – wait till they’re ready. And #2, be consistent.

“While potty training Sam, we learned that patience was key. Rushing it or pushing Sam beyond his comfort level just didn’t work for us. By allowing him to go at his own pace, we were able to encourage him to check out the potty and then become comfortable using it. “Potty training can be so difficult, especially for boys. Our best tip is to have a rewards system in place, whether it’s stickers, candy, or money! Yes, money!! Whatever it takes mom! Pick up a couple of packs of their favorite character underwear too, that always helps. Also, above any other tip, being consistent is key.”
