I look forward to the weekends, don’t you?! We get together with family at my sisters house most weekends for family game night or movie night. We always have so much fun and of course we make a big ol’ pot of coffee. This particular weekend though, I had a hankering for a Pumpkin Spice Latte.
I just picked up a few things at Walmart before we went to my sisters house for our game night.
My sister and I usually go all out with fancy shmancy creamers and such and the guys always think we’re crazy. This weekend we used the Coffee-mate Pumpkin Spice liquid creamer. Don’t let the guys fool you though. When they heard me say “Pumpkin Spice” they were all over it! They couldn’t help themselves.
The guys enjoyed their coffee with Pumpkin Spice creamer while we played a board game. Us girls however, went a few steps further with our coffee. We decided to add some of the Pumpkin Spice Coffee-mate creamer too, but then we added some cream to the top with a sprinkle or two of cinnamon. Then we stuck in a yummy cinnamon stick for good measure. Nice and easy way to make a pumpkin spice latte.
Easy peasy.
Just make your coffee as normal but let it cool just a bit before making your latte. You don’t want the whipped cream turning into liquid tooo quickly! After your coffee has cooled but is still warm enough to enjoy, add some Pumpkin Spice Creamer, pile on the whipped cream (we used Reddi Wip), and sprinkle on the cinnamon!
Oh my gosh…it was WAYYY good!!
My husband ended up winning the Duck Dynasty board game we played. Go figure! Little man was ready for bed as we were leaving. We always stay later than we plan to. As we were headed out the door Dale asked me twice if I had remembered to grab the Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer – umm, YES honey – I’ve got it! I think he’s totally hooked.
Do you usually fix coffee for friends and family when they visit? If so, I highly recommend the Coffee-mate Pumpkin Spice flavor! They have some other holiday flavors out right now too, like Peppermint! They’re only available for a short time so grab them while you still can.
We are a coffee drinking family. Even the kids get a cup once in a while. We LOVE CoffeeMate creamers, too. I need to run to the store soon and will definitely pick up the Pumpkin Spice!! YUM!!! Oh…I need peppermint too!
So are we Crystal! When I make a treat like this at home or grab something while we’re out, I’ll let Eli take a few sips. He loves it too!! The pumpkin is super delish…and so is the Peppermint!
You know Stephanie, I’m not sure how well they freeze! It might be worth a try to freeze a bottle now for a few days and then let it thaw and see how it does. I’ve frozen milk before so I’d say it would probably be just fine. You’d have to shake it up really well after it thaws out though!
I think my friends would TOTALLY love this pumpkin spice! Now..I just need to invite some peeps over for game night!
Game night will never be the same, LOL!!
I always offer friends and family coffee, hot cocoa and tea when they come over. #client
It’s the polite thing to do ;). There’s something comforting about enjoying a cup of coffee with friends and family. Or tea, or hot cocoa!
