Chocolate Stuffed Peanut Butter Cookies
Serves: 2 and a half dozen cookies
  • 32-35 HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Milk Chocolates
  • ½ cup shortening
  • ¾ cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup additional granulated sugar for rolling (optional)
  • HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Chips melted, for drizzling on top (optional)
  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Remove wrappers from chocolates.
  3. Beat shortening and peanut butter in mixing bowl until well blended.
  4. Add ⅓ cup sugar and the brown sugar, beat until fluffy.
  5. Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well.
  6. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually beat into peanut butter mixture.
  7. Scoop out cookie dough, using a cookie scoop.
  8. Press your thumb into the center of the cookie dough; set a HERSHEY'S KISSES Brand Milk Chocolate into the center.
  9. Wrap dough over the chocolate, and roll into a ball.
  10. Roll in granulated sugar, place on cookie sheet.
  11. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
  12. Drizzle melted chocolate on top, if desired.
